Bow grip

The long-awaited first novel by Ivan E. Coyote. Unlike her short stories, which are almost entirely first-person and told from the author's perspective as a self-admitted boyish girl' (though she is not transgender), Bow Grip is a straight, 40-something male who is at a crossroads in his life.

The title references Joey's burgeoning interest in the cello ('gripping' the 'bow') as well as Bow River in Calgary, where most of the novel takes place.'
