David Sparenberg (born on May 28, 1959 in Talbotville, Ontario, Canada) is a former professional American football guard.

He played his college football at the University of Western Ontario.

In 1987, he was signed by the Cleveland Browns as a replacement player during the 1987 NFL strike.

He would only play in one game for the Browns. American football is a sport played between two teams of eleven with the objective of scoring points by advancing the ball into the opposing team's end zone.

Known in the United States simply as football, it may also be referred to informally as gridiron football.
