Limnology and Oceanography covers the studies in inland and outland, natural and artificial water bodies, including lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams, wetlands, groundwater and oceans.

Research in this area focuses on the ecosystem and environment of water basins and all chemical, physical and biological dynamics. And researches regarding oceans include geology studies.
