Social and Health Authority Services for Elderly People from Black and Minority Ethnic Communities

Many services to elderly people from black and minority ethnic groups are perceived as being either inappropriate or inaccessible.

Over the years, there have been many local initiatives attempting to address this problem, but because they are small-scale and often widely disseminated.

This study is about how these services are delivered and examines in particular the differential provision of mainstream, specific and separate services.
