During a routine medical scan, Lucas discovers a growth behind his sinuses.

His Doctors review old scans and find that it's always been there, unchanged.

The Doctors deam it benign and tell Lucas not to worry about.

For Lucas, however, his gut tells him it's the missing piece of his life long search for answers.

He can't dwell on this revelation, though, because he's got a Bullet Train from L.A. to San Francisco to catch at the break of day.
