After-school Crafts

"After-School Crafts" is for working parents who want to slow down the pace and enjoy some fun with their children, and a way for kids themselves to develop important new skills.

This collection of safe, easy craft projects involves kids ages 6 to 12 in such activities as cooking, painting, moulding clay, cutting, drawing, pasting, and writing.

It also teaches the use of colours, shapes, numbers, letters, language, and other essentials.

Projects include coffee filter snowflakes, a baby food jiggle jar, a shoebox Valentine, a balloon basket, tissue paper water drop art, an eggshell mosaic, a pin cushion, and a variety of Christmas decorations, each of which can be completed in an hour or less using materials commonly found around the house.
