It includes an Answers Section, Notes on Ovid's narrative and descriptive techniques, the role of the gods, and shape-change.

Content questions, True/False tasks and some pair work aim to encourage greater pupil involvement.

The Resource seeks to reinforce understanding of the role of the gods, of the way in which these are presented by the poet and of the part they play in the lives and destinies of the characters.

The Points to Ponder sections occasionally interrupt questions on the narrative to allow candidates to think about the poet's narrative/descriptive technique, or to comment on the characters and on the action as it unfolds.
