The aim of this resource is to consolidate students' understanding of the set texts through content questions, while an appreciation of the language is fostered through an examination of literary effects and by focusing on vocabulary and syntax at both sentence and word/phrase level.

True/False and 'reconstruction' activities, Discussion and Pair Work are intended to encourage students to respond personally, to think analytically, and to enjoy the insight into the culture of Ancient Rome afforded by the material studied.
