It started with the aircrash on the cliffs of Dulworth Bay and slowly escalated into wholesale murder.

Each time, the name Curzon came up like the curse of death, giving Paul Temple and his wife Steve plenty to think about.

Somewhere in the sleepy Yorkshire fishing village, behind a facade of innocence, a murderer lurked.

A maniac? A hired killer? A racketeer? There were names to choose from, but none of them sounded like Curzon.

Unless the murderer made a slip, Temple's sole hope lay in fitting a face to the name - and only then would the reign of terror end.
