Professor William K. Kay (PhD, University of Reading; PhD, University of Nottingham; DD, University of Nottingham) is by any reckoning a pioneer in the field of Pentecostal Studies, having served on staff at Mattersey Hall Bible College, the University of Wales, King's College (London), Bangor University where he established the Centre for Pentecostal and Charismatic Studies, and Wrexham Glyndwr University, where he was named Professor of Theology. He edited the Journal of the European Pentecostal Theological Association for more than a decade and authored a number of books including: Pentecostals in Britain (Paternoster, 2000), Apostolic Networks in Britain (Paternoster, 2007, Pentecostalism, A Very Short Introduction (Oxford, 2012), and George Jeffreys: Pentecostal Apostle and Revivalist (CPT Press, 2017). Kay's contribution includes functioning as mentor for scores of theological studies through doctoral level. For his many academic contributions he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Society for Pentecostal Studies in 2019. This volume consists of studies written in Professor Kay's honour by his mentor, his mentees, and colleagues who have worked with him over the years.
Andrew Davies (PhD, University of Sheffield) is Professor of Public Religion and Director of the Edward Cadbury Centre at the University of Birmingham in Birmingham, UK.
Anne E. Dyer (PhD, University of Wales, Bangor) was on the staff of Mattersey Hall (2000-2020) and is now a free-lance tutor with several colleges and independent students.
