Against a Crooked Sky

Gritty alternate take on John Ford's classic western 'The Searchers'.

Setting out to track down the Indians who took his sister, Sam Sutter (Stewart Peterson) teams up with gnarled old prospector/trapper 'Russian' (Richard Boone).

As the two near their prize, they lock horns with Indian chief 'Cut Tongue' (Henry Wilcoxon), with Sam having to pass the gruelling test of 'Crooked Sky' by protecting his sister from an executioner's arrow.
