Orestes: Blood and Light

Helen Edmundson has an outstanding track record for adapting well-known stories for the stage.

Her dramatisations of "Anna Karenina" and "The Mill on the Floss for Shared Experience", and "Coram Boy for the National Theatre", have won awards and consistently thrilled audiences.

Shared Experience have now commissioned her to revisit the "Orestes" story: the result, based loosely on Euripides, is bound to bring us gripping and passionate drama which both respects the original and gives it a modern theatrical shape.
