Fra Didak Buntic was a Croatian friar and educator from Herzegovina.

Buntic was born on October 9, 1871. The next day he was baptized as Franjo Buntic. He entered the Franciscan order in 1888 (taking the name Didak) and finished seminary in 1894.

The next year he began teaching at the gymnasium in Siroki Brijeg.

During his time in Siroki Brijeg, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built.

He became the school's principal in 1911 and began to encourage the education of children from neighbouring villages.
