This is the illustrated story of the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) from its founding by Paul McCartney and Mark Featherstone-Witty to its tenth anniversary.

Today, LIPA offers unique programmes and attracts 21 people from around the world to apply for each place.

It has the fourth highest percentage of international students in the UK.

Three-quarters of any given intake year still work in the arts and entertainment economy three years after leaving.
