This is Citizenship! - Bk. 2 : Teacher's Resource Book

"This is Citizenship" is a major new course for Citizenship education in secondary schools.

It provides a structured programme of flexible activities which cover all the knowledge, skills and understanding requirements of the compulsory Citizenship curriculum. "This is Citizenship 2" builds on Book 1. "The Pupil's Book" provides classroom-friendly activities covering the main topics and themes from the Citizenship curriculum such as: Rules and fairness; Rights, responsibilities and tolerance; the community and local government; National government; Mass media; and, the world as a global community.

These activities provide a flexible framework that can be used as a self-contained course or as part of a school-designed scheme of work incorporating local initiatives.

This "Teacher's Resource Book" fully supports "This is Citizenship 2 Pupil's Book", with activity sheets to help access or extend all the major tasks, and extensive notes for teachers on how to make this material work in the classroom.
