The Moons of Jupiter

The Moons of Jupiter is part of the Key Skills strand (High Frequency Words) of Cambridge Reading.

Using the latest pictures, it asks children to find out about Jupiter and two of its larger moons, Io and Europa.

The language is simple with repetition of high frequency words -- ideal for young readers in the Foundation stage (aged 4).

There are 20 non-fiction books in the High Frequency Words strand, which provide a comprehensive resource for teaching the 45 NLS high-frequency words.

The words are introduced in the context of real texts through three different text types -- 'I remember' (recount), 'how to' (instruction) and 'find out about' (report).
