Kid's Talk

This cassette is part of a selection of resources designed to teach American English to young children by providing them with experiences in which language learning is combined with other facets which are important in the Kindergarten curriculum.

An accompanying book includes a programme to encourage the acquisition of new vocabulary and language structures through pattern practice, dialogues, songs and games in a planned sequence.

The presentation completed, the children then participate in the activities. The weekly themes revolve around children and their world.

A feature of this three-level course is that the activities take into account the different stages of the child's intellectual and physical development.

Such activities, together with constant opportunities for success, increase the learner's motivation to use the newly acquired second language.
