This story features Tracy's mostdirect assault on drug traffickers, coinciding with Richard Nixon's "War onDrugs!" All this, plusTracy grows a mustache, Groovy seems to be falling for acertain longlegged policewoman, and Gravel Gertie tries to figure out themysterious link between the world's oldest tattoo artist and a million dollarsin missing gems.

Meanwhile, an attempted burglary of rare metals from DietSmith's plant introduces Peanutbutter, the smartest kid in the strip sinceBrilliant, the inventor of the TwoWay Wrist Radio.
