Good business : implementing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights

This action plan is the UK's national implementation plan for the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs).

It embodies a commitment to protect human rights by helping UK companies understand and manage human rights.

The UNGPs are structured around three pillars: the State duty to protect human rights; the corporate responsibility to respect human rights; and access to remedy.

This action plan follows that structure and outlines how the Government has responded to the UNGPs and details plans for further work.
