Stranded in Deadwood

"Deadwood is a rough and tumble town,"
 Aunt Liv's words echo in Amy's ears as the stage begins to slow. "It's no place for someone as young and pretty as you."
 Amy laughs, remembering her aunt's words. After all, didn't the girls at
school always say she was plain?
But that was then. And now?

She's given up on being a wife and a mother since she's passed her
twenty-second birthday.

She's sure of it; she'll always be plain.

Andrew Reese, however, thinks differently. What is such
a beautiful creature as Amy Bennett doing here in a place like Deadwood?

He knows what usually happens to young women who end up here.

And he's determined it won't happen to Amy.
