Jelly and Bean

There are no new small letters in this book but the capital letters 'J' and 'B' are used in the names of the characters Jelly and Bean.

These should be treated as 'sight' words at this stage.

The sentences all begin with 'I am - '. The word 'I' should be taught as a special 'sight' word.

It has been deliberately introduced at this stage to differentiate it from capital 'I' as in 'It' at the start of a sentence.

The texts on the last two pages are not sentences and, hence, full stops are not used.
