Most sectors of industry and business have workers who are peripatetic.

These range from doctors to delivery drivers, painters to plumbers, salesmen to surveyors.

This guidance provides information about the risks that peripatetic workers may face, and stresses the importance of the training and information needed to protect such workers and others.

It explains to employers how, given the nature of peripatetic work, they should approach assessing the risks to health, and what they should do to remove or reduce those risks.
