Food and Environment Protection Act 1985; Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986 : An Open Learning Course

This open learning course on the Food and Environment Protection Act 1985 Part III (FEPA) and the Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986 (COPR) has been designed for all those who require an in-depth knowledge of the legislative background to pesticides and their safe use, storage and disposal.

The course defines what a pesticide is and enables the reader to understand the scope of the regulations; provides information on how pesticides are evaluated and approved by either MAFF or HSE; and explains the requirement for Certificates of Competence for those engaged in selling, supplying, using or storing for sale and supply, pesticides approved for agricultural use.
