Auditing and Assurance Toolkit : CA Proficiency 2 / FAE Core

This text accompanies the main ICAI textbook, "Auditing and Assurance for CA Proficiency 2 and FAE Core levels of the ICAI Professional Course".

Part of the "Pathways to Competency" series, the text invites the student to enter into the role of 'James Crown', a trainee Chartered Accountant, who is asked to carry out tasks simulating real-life situations.

These tasks are designed to help students acquire the knowledge and competencies they need for their professional exams and careers.

The text consists of the 3 'Sessions': the legal and business environment in which audit and assurance is conducted; principles of auditing and assurance in situations frequently encountered in professional practice; and, the impact of audit and assurance on the content of the audit report issued at the conclusion of the audit/assurance process.
