ISO 9001 and Software Quality Assurance

This work considers the international standard ISO 9001 and its implications for software quality assurance.

Beginning with a clear introduction to quality and to the ISO 9000 series, the work goes on to examine in depth one particular facet of the standard in each chapter.

In each case, the section is discussed generally, its relevance to software development is highlighted, typical errors and problems are described and a set of checks is provided.
