The students taken captive in the infamous Kappa Kidnapping have at last returned to the Academy of Omniosophical Arts & Sciences, safe if not sound after months of brainwashing at the hands of the Exaequos rebels.

Pete Drake knows he should feel jubilant, but he mostly feels uneasy. Who knows what the kidnappees may have brought back to campus with them. And then there's the issue of the "package" Pete delivered to the powers that be. What is to become of it?
