Each of the 14walks is inspired by her books, characters or places special to her.

Some are famous - Frenchman's Creek, asthe setting for the novel of the same name - while others are less familiar, such as Stowe Barton near Bude -the starting point for The King's General.

Walks vary from three to seven miles, have concise directions, clearmaps, and essential information: length, refreshments and places of interest.
