Being Gay in America : A True Story

I was a Catholic altar boy at 13 years of age with my Catholic Church telling me my homosexual feelings were immoral and American Society and its government telling me I was insane. It was like each side was tearing me apart. I kept looking at catalogs of women trying to reverse my attraction. Nothing changed my desire towards men. Our spiritual lives have breathlessly thrived despite them, and gays are free to successfully create their own romance, meaning of love, faith and family. My story is one of hope, spirituality and how my sexuality blended me into the man I became and love today.
