Felix is Prince of the Castle, Prince of the Mountains and Prince of the Forest and he has one thousand precious things. But he is all alone. While he is walking in the forest, with only his shadow for company, he meets a huge dragon who tells him that he guards the most wonderful treasures in the land. One by one, Felix and the dragon bring out their treasures and precious things to see whose is the most special - a golden horn that calls all the birds from the sky, a flag of rainbow silk that stirs up the four winds, a casket of magical powder that makes the day grow dark and fireworks explode all around them.

At the end of their breathtaking day together Felix and the dragon discover they have been sharing the same treasures all along, and Felix knows he will never have to be alone again.
