After meeting an English girl at the "Tea Party" ship, Judy is gobsmacked to learn that her British friend enjoys far more liberties than she does, including her very own phone, private loo and lots of pocket money.

So Judy embarks on a quest for more independence of her own.

But when staging her own Boston tea party doesn't work on Dad, she is forced into retreat...until a real-life crisis finally gives Judy a chance to prove her independence, once and for all.
