Austin was about to spend the next five months with his Uncle Fredric, an uncle he hadn't seen since he was three.

At least that's what his mother told him, for Austin didn't remember meeting this uncle at all.

Lately, Austin had been having strange dreams. Dreams that made no sense, yet he had them repeatedly.

The dreams felt so real, and they seemed to be happening more often.

Austin was not excited about the visit to his Uncle's house.

His only cousin there was a handicapped girl named Shari, who his mother made him promise to play with.

Austin couldn't wait for the trip to be over, and yet it was just beginning.
