Just like the day it warned her she had fallen in love with her Literature professor. Now she must face his death and her memories. Waiting for her at the funeral home is Roco, to whom Helena gave her diary years ago, but also Laura, Roberto's widow, who insists on inviting her to her home. A young, renowned, and controversial food critic, Helena analyzes, recommends, and denounces flavors and dishes, but she doesn't know what to do with her life. In her native Alcal de Henares, far from the magazine she works at and her boyfriend, while memories assault her and tie her stomach in knots, she must decide.

With Lolita's Funeral, Luna Miguel confirms the great eloquence that has marked her poetry, and reveals herself to be a magnificent storyteller.
