Violet lives in a town where emotions are non-existent. People live on logic and logic alone where pain is limited and life is simple. Living her whole life without emotions keeps things easy and painless.

However, after taking a pill that gives her emotions for the first time she explores a whole new world that entices her to feel forever. But emotions have side effects that she was never prepared for and must decide if it's easier to feel everything...
