On 20th July 1969, Neil Armstrong made history by stepping out onto the surface of the moon from his lunar module, the culmination of a decade long Space Race between the superpowers of USA and the USSR.

Using original footage and photographs from the time, a complete picture of the Apollo Programme is built up to show a landmark in American, and Earth's, history.
