Mentoring Disaffected Young People : An Evaluation of Mentoring Plus

Does mentoring work? This report is based on an innovative study which evaluated the effectiveness of mentoring; an increasingly popular intervention with vulnerable or 'at risk' young people. 'Mentoring Plus', an award-winning community based project for young offenders and young people excluded from school, was the focus of this study.

The report documents the views of both mentors and young people and assesses the impact of the programme on a range of outcomes, including crime.
