Moving Forward: A Christian Study for Survivors of Suicide Loss is written with deep compassion for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. Its authors are Christians who have personal experiences and insights as loss survivors. This book offers the unique perspective of a Christian worldview on suicide and hope in the midst of grief following the trauma of losing a loved one in this way and serves as a leader's guide for a small group setting. The book is divided into fifteen chapters, with the three final ones specifically written for the group leader. Each of the first twelve chapters (corresponding to the participant's guide) focuses on one or more aspects of the Christian's journey through loss. Chapters include many scriptural references and applications. The book is designed to minister healing to Christians of any denomination or non-believers, offering a message of faith in God's love and mercy. The authors address the many complex emotions and questions that are common in the faith community after a suicide loss, including stigma, anger, depression, and confusion.

Readers are encouraged to move forward through gentle and thoughtful reflection, recognizing the importance of self-care, reaching out for support from family, friends, and community, and with an eye toward celebrating the life of the one who died by suicide.
