Our World

This video contains 18 episodes which encourage young minds to explore the home, the classrooom and the great outdoors. Everyday themes, such as food, dress, games and weddings, fill the first five programmes.

The next five, made with the non-specialist teacher in mind, introduce children to music, from the basic principles or rhythm and beat to the performance of a classroom opera.

Programmes 11 to 18 feature summer days out, with the school and the family.

Locations range from the local park and the seaside to a 17th-century role-playing museum.
