"Plays With Attitude" are hard hitting one hour plays written to appeal to teenage audiences and performers. "Twisted" explores themes of bullying, peer pressure, family relationships and self-worth.

The play begins with one known fact - Gretel is in a coma.

In the course of finding out why, the story unfolds through flashback, the reactions of those around her, speculation and visual dramatic devices.

At the end, when the audience is invited to consider who caused Gretel's coma, the answer is not as clear-cut as might be expected.

This play requires a minimum cast of 17, but is designed for a much larger cast to suit drama groups of varied sizes. "Twisted" presents a mix of psychological realism with stylization, ensemble performance, monologue and improvisation.
