Closing the Gap : Information, Participation and Justice in Decision-making for the Environment

This report includes analysis of national systems for public participation in nine countries - Chile, Hungary, Indonesia, India, Mexico, Thailand, South Africa, Uganda and the USA - and calls for reforms in the policy and practices of governments, donors, and international organizations for implementation of the commitments made at Rio to access information, participation and justice in decision-making.
