Primary Environmental Studies 4 : Living in the Community - Pupil's Book

Environmental Studies is an exciting new course written specifically for the new Ghanaian Primary Environmental Studies syllabus.

It consists of six Teacher's books for years 1-6 and three Pupil's books for years 4-6. Pupil's books 4-6 have been structured to cover the knowledge, skills and attitudes required at each level of the curriculum.

The syllabus is essentially child-centered and thus the books are designed to encourage maximum pupil participation in every lesson. The language levels, diagrams, maps, case studies, activities and evaluation exercises are designed to suit the needs of the pupils.

They meet the different criteria for each level of the syllabus. "Environmental Studies Pupil's Book 4" helps the pupils to: participate fully in each lesson; use the illustrations to supplement the text and give greater understanding; become fully involved in case studies and activities; evaluate their understanding of the course.
