Nevile Davidson

Rev. Dr. A. Nevile Davidson (1899-1976), minister of Glasgow Cathedral for over thirty years, was one of the most distinguished Scottish churchmen of the twentieth century.

A living embodiment of the idea of ""a broad churchman,"" he was both a representative of the high church ""Scoto-Catholic"" tradition and a key supporter of Billy Graham's 1955 evangelistic campaign.

Throughout most of his life he kept a detailed diary and for the first time, in this book, this rich source of material is drawn upon, in addition to the reminiscences of those who knew him, giving a unique insight into the man behind the dignified public persona.
