Sacramentarium Fuldense saeculi X

A photographic reprint of the rare edition,first published in 1912, of the `Fulda Sacramentary' (Gottingen, UB, Cod. theol. 231), a 10th-century manuscript written at Fulda which represents a distinct recension of the Gregorian Sacramentary, possibly connected with the scholarly activities of Hrabanus Maurus (d.856).

The Fulda Sacramentary was richly illuminated; it is also a rich repository of prayers and mass formulas, and its ample contents include aprayer in Old High German.
