Spanning thousands of miles and presenting a myriad of terrains, North America is home to a wide range of animals.

These amazing critters have developed the ability to survive in a host of environments, from the burning deserts of the south, to the freezing tundras of the north, and everything in between.

The diminutive creatures have adapted methods to escape predators and the apex predators have found ways to remain at the top of the food chain. 1 thing is for certain, the mammals of North America are tough and rugged.

They have to be in order to survive in the wild.
