Emily Westwood is a fresh-faced MP, newly elected to Parliament and eager to get on with the job.

When she's appointed Minister for the Department that counts paperclips, she quickly finds out that life in Westminster isn't all it's cracked up to be. Menawhile, her long-term housemate Tesrin Stepford-Brown continues her battle against reality as she wanders through life oblivious to the nature of the world around her.
