Dutchess the Cat with Thumbs

Dutchess the Cat with Thumbs is based on a real-life cat. Dutchess was adopted from a shelter. Nobody wanted her. Everybody thought she was handicapped. Dutchess learned as a kitten she had "special" paws. As she got older, she would pick up pens and pencils. She could open doors while turning the handle. She would also scoop up toys and play with them. Dutchess passed away from a tumor when she was eight years old. I wanted to write this book to keep her unique legacy alive. Of course, we added some imagination to make this book fun. I hope you enjoy the story of Dutchess.
