Cannibal Holocaust

1980s Italian horror in which a group of documentary film-makers head to the South American jungle in search of real-life cannibals.

Six months later, a rescue team is sent to investigate the film crew's disappearance.

However, after travelling deep into the jungle, the only evidence the rescue team manage to find is the crew's cans of exposed film footage, footage which shows them to have been successful in their search.
