Young children learn best when they are having fun and the Rhyming games are an enjoyable way to learn to develop listening skills, hearing and matching sound patterns as well as starting to recognise the different letters, to know which sounds they represent. They can then begin to use them to sound out rhyming words. All of the games and activities suggested in this Flashcard set can be played with an adult or older child together with one or two younger children.
