Pilot Mills (Driver) is on a two-year mission when an asteroid hits his ship, causing him to crash-land on a strange planet.

To get home, he and Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), the only other surviving passenger, must find the escape vessel, but reaching it involves crossing dangerous terrain populated by dinosaurs.

Meanwhile, a large asteroid is fast approaching the planet, threatening it with destruction...
