Courting Trouble

Handing her house-keys to a cat sitter and fleeing to a quiet beach house, Anne Murphy thinks she's found the perfect way to escape the mayhem. That is until she sees her photograph on the front page of the morning newspaper under a headline proclaiming that she's been brutally murdered.

While the rest of the city celebrates Independence Day, Anne is plunged into a nightmare scenario. She cannot rely on the police, for they have already allowed her stalker to slip through their hands once. Instead, playing dead to stay alive, she turns to her new colleague at the all-female law firm, Rosato and Associates. It will take all their combined ingenuity and nerve to track down the killer before it's too late.
