INTRODUCTION Overview Psychology in the twenty first century has awakened to a new perspective led by Seligman (1998; p.2) wherein he stresses that "Psychology is not just the study of weakness and damage, it is also the study of strength and virtue." In other words, instead of focusing on disabilities and shortcomings of human beings, psychology today is exploring the virtues inherent in human beings. This has led a massive transformation in the areas of research in psychology; as some positive experiences, personality traits and civic virtues, like psychological well-being, forgiveness, optimism, hope, spirituality, tolerance, happiness, forgiveness are being researched in the domain of positive psychology (Seligman & Csikszentmihalyi, 2000). The present research study investigates Psychological well-being as a function of Workplace Spirituality and Achievement Motivation amongst working women. Psychological Well-being "An individual will be high in psychological well-being in the degree to which he has an excess of positive over negative affect and will be low in well-being in the degree to which negative affect predominates over positive." (Bradburn, 1969, p. 9) Two perspectives on well-being which have been studied extensively are the "Hedonic" and the "Eudaimonic" Perspectives.
